The Science Behind the Product
The Science Behind the Product
Designed to Be Easy to Use
1. Multiple Ways to Use: Drink directly from the water source through the filter, screw it onto a bottle, or connect it to the included water bag.
2. Microscopic Barrier: Hollow-fiber membranes with 0.01-micron pores create a physical barrier against contaminants.
3. Contaminants Stay Out: Water passes through while bacteria, parasites, and microplastics are blocked by the membrane.
4. Clean Water in Seconds: Get filtered water whenever you need it using suction or gravity—no batteries, chemicals, or pumping required.

How It Works
Ready for the unexpected. Pure Flow Water Filter adapts easily to any situation.
Drink directly from a stream, connect it to your water bottle, or use it with the gravity bag. The high-performance filtration core works instantly using only natural pressure. No batteries. No pumping. No waiting.
Drink directly through the filter or squeeze the bag to push water through it.
Hollow-fiber membranes with 0.01-micron pores block bacteria and pathogens.
Harmful particles are trapped on the fiber surface and never reach your mouth.
Filtered water flows straight from the mouthpiece: clean, safe, and ready to drink.
A complete filtration system that fits in your backpack
What Pure Flow Water Filter Filters
THE MOST COMMON THREATS...
Pathogenic and Fecal Bacteria
All are larger than the membrane’s 0.01-micron pore size.
- E. coli
- Salmonella
- Shigella
- Campylobacter
- Vibrio cholerae (cholera)
- Fecal coliforms
Why it matters: They are responsible for most severe cases of waterborne illness worldwide.
Protozoa and Parasites
They are blocked due to their size and cellular structure.
- Giardia lamblia
- Cryptosporidium parvum
- Entamoeba histolytica
- Cysts and oocysts
Why it matters: These organisms can cause persistent gastrointestinal illness and dangerous dehydration.
Microplastics
Found in lakes, rivers, streams, and tap water.
- Particles and fibers
- Fragments and microbeads
- Polymers > 0.01 microns
Why it matters: Microplastics have been found in more than 80% of the natural water sources tested.
Organic Matter
It is trapped on the outer surface of the fiber membrane.
- Algae and biofilm
- Plant debris
- Decaying leaves
Why it matters: The buildup of organic matter affects both the taste and safety of water.
Inorganic Sediments
They are mechanically filtered before the water reaches the membrane.
- Sand and silt
- Clay particles
- Rust particles
Why it matters: They are found in virtually any untreated natural water source.
Turbidity and Visible Contaminants
Reduces turbidity and improves water clarity.
Why it matters: Clearer water does not necessarily mean it is safe to drink.
Biological Hazards (> 0.01 microns)
Traps a wide range of biological contaminants, including worm eggs, larvae, nematodes, and clusters of bacteria.
Why it matters: Water from untreated natural sources often contains biological hazards invisible to the naked eye.
Attach it to your backpack, belt, or emergency bag to keep it within reach whenever you need it.
The heart of the system: hollow-fiber membranes inside the filter help remove contaminants from water when you need it.
Illustrated step-by-step instructions so any family member can start using it with ease.
Reach streams, puddles, or collection containers without having to get close to a questionable water source.
A collapsible reservoir that stores flat and holds water for immediate needs. Screw it on, squeeze the bag, and let the filter do the rest.
Why Choose Our Filter?
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the Pure Flow Water Filter, including filtration, use, maintenance, and storage.
Isn’t boiling water enough?
Boiling water works, but it isn’t always practical when you need it most. It requires fuel, a heat source, a container, and time — things you may not have during a wildfire evacuation or sudden flooding.
The Pure Flow Water Filter lets you filter water immediately, without electricity, batteries, or complicated setup.
What does 0.01-micron filtration remove?
The hollow-fiber membrane is designed to filter physical and biological contaminants larger than its 0.01-micron pores.
- Bacteria such as E. coli, Salmonella and other waterborne bacteria
- Parasites and protozoa such as Giardia y Cryptosporidium
- Microplastics
- Sediment, dirt, and suspended particles
- Turbidity and visible contaminants
Does it expire if stored for years?
When stored dry and properly, the Pure Flow Water Filter is designed to remain ready after long periods in storage.
You can keep it in your emergency bag, vehicle, or closet so it is available when needed. If you have used it, let it dry completely before storing it to reduce the risk of mold.
How much water can it filter?
The Pure Flow Water Filter is designed to filter up to 400 gallons of water over its lifetime.
Actual lifespan may vary depending on water quality and the amount of sediment in the source.
How many do we need for a family?
For a family of four or five, having one unit per person gives each family member independent access to a filter.
For additional preparedness, you can also keep a second unit per person as a backup.
- Minimum: one unit per person
- Extra preparedness: two units per person
Is it suitable for children?
The Pure Flow Water Filter requires suction when drinking directly through the filter.
For children who have difficulty using it directly, you can use the flexible bag to filter water first, then transfer it to their bottle or container.
Can I use it directly in a river or stream?
Yes. The Pure Flow Water Filter is designed for use directly with various water sources.
You can drink directly through the filter, connect it to the included bag, or use the extension tube when it is easier to reach water from a distance.
I live in a city. Is it useful for me?
Yes. An emergency filter can also be useful in urban areas when the usual water supply is interrupted or a water-quality advisory is issued.
Extended outages, floods, storms, damaged pipes, and municipal system problems can temporarily leave a household without its usual drinking-water supply.
The compact Pure Flow Water Filter is easy to store at home, in a car, or in an emergency kit.
What maintenance does it need?
1. After each use: Blow firmly through the mouthpiece to help expel trapped water and debris.
2. If the flow decreases: Run clean water through the filter and expel it again to loosen accumulated debris.
3. Repeat if needed: You can repeat the process several times until adequate flow returns.
4. Before storage: Shake out excess water and allow the filter to air-dry completely.
What is included in the kit?
The Pure Flow Water Filter system includes essential accessories for different ways of using it.
- Pure Flow Water Filter portable filter
- 1.5 L flexible water bag
- Water extension tube
- Carabiner
- Quick-start guide
